Rachelle joined our nursing team in June 2015 having known our surgery and patients for many years in her previous role as a district nurse with the Bridport team.

TABATHA LEWIS
Tabatha trained as a nursing assistant in 1991 and worked at Herrison Hospital and Blackdown Community Hospital as well as at a nursing home in Cheshire, before joining us in 2008. Tabby does a wide range of procedures including phlebotomy, ECGs, dressings and NHS Health Checks. She is also trained as a Smokestop Advisor and has successfully supported many patients in their path to becoming non-smokers.

ALISON DUNBAR
Alison joined the admin team at Portesham Surgery in 2005 and took over as Practice Manager in 2008. She previously worked at Amnesty International in London.

Caroline joined the staff in May 2001 (to do four weeks’ holiday cover. 15 years later and we can’t imagine the dispensary without her!). She had previously worked in Boots since the age of 15.

CAREN WIGGINTON
Caren brings a wealth of experience to our team, having worked for Dorset County Council in various roles for 26 years. She took a year off but was tempted back into work with us in October 2014.
JO DENCH
Jo worked in customer services in a variety of areas including retail, Agincare and Dorset Police, before joining us in 2014.
ANNE HIGHFIELD
Anne was born and brought up in Weymouth. She previously worked as a contracts manager for a local training company, joined us as a receptionist in 2005 then left to have her children. She has kept firmly in touch with us, providing us with holiday cover on numerous occasions, and we’ve finally got her back one day a week doing medical referrals and the book-keeping.

LORRAINE WILLCOCK
Lorraine has lived in the Dorset area for many years and has worked in the surgery since 2004. Lorraine previously worked for Waitrose in Dorchester and she is in charge of managing the flu clinics every year here at the surgery.
KACEY CAMPBELL
Originally from Middlesex, Kacey has worked for British Airways & as an I.T Manager for River Island. She has lived in Weymouth since 2020 and has one son who lives in Australia Kacey loves Jazz, tap dancing and looking forward to getting to the West End when it opens again!

Jo has lived in Bridport for 16 years, but she originally comes from Devon. She worked for Boots for 8 years and came to the surgery in 2006. Her role is general dispenser and she is in charge of managing blister packs.
SARAH BAKER
Sarah joined in September 2018. She lives in Maiden Newton with her husband and daughter, and previously worked as a dispenser in a Dorchester GP practice for five years.
