Non NHS Services

Fees for Private Work

The NHS provides most care to users free of charge.  However some services that we provide are not covered by the NHS and we will make a charge for these services. Examples of chargeable services include medical reports required for reasons other than safeguarding your health (for example, for private medical insurance claims); medical examinations for your occupation or sport such as HGV and divers medicals; and some travel vaccines for conditions which are not prevalent in the UK and therefore not part of the national vaccination programme. The charge for travel vaccinations will depend on the cost of the vaccine at the time we order it.

If you need your GP to prepare a report, sign a document (such as a passport) or fill in a form, please check our list of fees beforehand.  Post your document or drop it in to the Surgery with plenty of notice.  We will contact you by phone/text/email when it is ready to collect. If you need a medical examination please phone our Patient Services team to arrange a mutually convenient time for the appointment.

Charges may vary depending on the amount of work required to complete the documentation, and all fees must be paid in advance.
