Patient Services Advisor (Receptionist)

📍 Location: Dorchester and Portesham, Dorset
🕒 Hours: Part-time
💼 Contract: Permanent

We are looking for a professional and compassionate Patient Services Advisor to join our busy GP practice. You will be the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service both in person and over the phone.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing patient enquiries at reception and by telephone

• Booking appointments and handling administrative tasks

• Supporting clinicians and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations

What we’re looking for:

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Previous reception or customer service experience (healthcare experience desirable but not essential)

Dispenser (GP Surgery)

📍 Location: Portesham, Dorset
🕒 Hours: Part-time
💼 Contract: Permanent

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dispenser to support our dispensary team within the GP surgery.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparing and dispensing prescriptions accurately

• Managing stock and maintaining records

• Supporting patients with medication queries

What we’re looking for:

• Dispensing qualification (or willingness to train)

• Attention to detail and strong teamwork skills

• Previous experience in a pharmacy or GP dispensary preferred
