Health Checks for Children

Part of Dorset’s child health programme is that children under the age of five are reviewed routinely at 7-9 months, two years and three-and-a-half years of age.   More information about these developmental assessments are in your child’s Health Record (the “red book”).

These reviews are carried out by our health visitor, Louise Goodman, at the Surgery.   Our receptionist will contact you when a check is due and book you into a health visitor clinic at your convenience.

If you have any concerns at any other time don’t hesitate to contact Louise.
